The SHOPPING CART solution authorises payments in real-time from your business’s website, allowing customers to browse and purchase your products and services in their own time, and from home, saving you all the hard work.
Merchant hosted is where the merchant provides an SSL secure page on their website for purchasers to enter credit card details and order details.
The merchant’s system then sends one encrypted message to Suncorp Bank, which processes the transaction and provides an approved/declined response.
The merchant’s system then displays a response to the purchaser.
Bank Hosted is where the website customer is directed over to the banks secure payment page to enter their Credit Card information, once the transaction is complete, the customer will be directed back to your website.

Suncorp Virtual Payment Client VPC
The Suncorp Payment Client is the interface that provides a secure method of communication between your online store and the Payment Server, which facilitates the processing of payments.
The Suncorp Payment Client uses the MasterCard Internet Gateway Service (MIGS) Server. MIGS facilitates the processing of secure payments in real-time over the internet between your online store/website and your bank.
All communications between the cardholder, your online store, the Payment Server and the bank is encrypted, making the whole procedure not only simple and quick, but also secure.
Purchase is a single transaction that debits the funds from a cardholder's credit card account and credits these funds to the merchants account. The transfer of funds occur's after end-of-day settlement occurs between the card-issusing bank and the merchant's bank.
Extensions tested on a Single Site Installation, multisite installations not recommended.
